B.Tech. (Physical Sciences)
Bachelor of Technology in Physical Sciences
Duration: | 4 Years |
Level: | Graduation |
Type: | Degree |
Eligibility: | 10+2 |
B.Tech. Physical Sciences or Bachelor of Technology in Physical Sciences is an undergraduate Physical Sciences course. Physical Science is an encompassing term for the branches of natural science and science that study non-living systems, in contrast to the life sciences. However, the term ‘physical’ creates an unintended, somewhat arbitrary distinction, since many branches of physical science also study biological phenomena. The syllabus for the course is divided into eight semesters. B.Tech. (Physical Sciences) is four years duration course and it may be offered by some certain institutes on part time basis as well. The course is very important and job originating in nature which opens many options for the applicants after the completion of it.
B.Tech. Physical Sciences Eligibility
- A pass in the H.S.C. academic or its equivalent or in the vocational stream with engineering or Technology vocational subjects or any one or two related subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education and Training or Higher Secondary Board.
- For IITs, It is mandatory to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examinations (J.E.E).

B.Tech. Physical Sciences Course Suitability
Applicants those who want to do their Master’s degree for becoming lecturer/ professor are most suitable for it. Those who have good communication skills, hard worker, calculative, interested in science and want to make this field their career also are good match for it. Who want to contribute in the invention and development of Science and in the progress of the country also are able for this course.
How is B.Tech. Physical Sciences Course Beneficial?
There is a wide scope for engineers in areas like polymer technology, textile technology, communication, computers, automobile, thermal engineering, etc. There are lots of job opportunities available in India as well as in foreign countries for them. In addition, the International Space Station will open up further opportunities for groundbreaking research in the physical and life sciences. By elevating its life and physical sciences research program, NASA could achieve the biological understanding and technical breakthroughs needed to allow humans to be sent deeper into space, including to Mars, says a new National Research Council report.
The Importance of Science to man is to gain knowledge about our society and to now who and where technology started. It even gives us knowledge about the latest technologies released. Candidates can go for their Masters’ degree in the interested subjects. After having suitable qualification professionals in this career can also opt for teaching jobs in universities and colleges.
